COVID 19 New Instructions

Proof of health insurance that covers medical treatment for COVID-19 is no longer required to enter Jordan. Based on the recommendations of the National Epidemiological Committee, Minister of Interior and acting Minister of Health Mazen Faraya on Wednesday decided that travel medical insurance that covers medical treatment for COVID-19 is no longer required for arrivals to the Kingdom.

The decision also included the continuation of immunisation for all targeted ages, encouraging the administration of a fourth dose after setting clear criteria for this dose, particularly six months after taking the third shot.

As per the decision, a PCR test is no longer required for entering and visiting hospitals and healthcare centres, while emergencies and suspected cases of virus infection, can undergo a rapid antigen test.
